Memorial Day Weekend Worship at First Presbyterian Church Information
Join us at First Presbyterian Church of Troy on Sunday, May 30
FPC-Troy, Northminster, Starr and Central Woodward churches will be joining together in worship. The service will include a sermon on Acts 2:14-41 and efforts to grow the church – including by the friendship and fellowship of our four local churches.
Rev. Dan Heaton from Troy will offer the sermon.
Communion will be held. (Pre-packaged elements will be available.)
The service will conclude with a postlude medley of patriotic songs to mark the Memorial Day weekend. Troy elder Jim Meinershagen, a retired Army colonel, will open the service with some thoughts on Memorial Day. Following the service, light refreshments will be available.
The service will be held outdoors (weather permitting, indoors otherwise)at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, May 30, at FPC-Troy, 4328 Livernois.
FPC-Troy is now mask-optional for those who have been vaccinated, mask-required for those who have not been vaccinated, on the honor system.
